Dust buildup is made up of small airborne particles, that can scratch or dull the surface if not
removed correctly. Simply wipe the surface with a dust free cloth dampened with a non wax
containing cleaning polish or mild detergent. Make sure the surface is dried.
Cleaning
Wipe the surfaces with a clean, dust free cloth dampened with a non-wax containing cleaning
polish or mild detergent, then dry immediately.
Do’s and Don’ts.
Avoid harsh chemicals such as bleach and Ammonia. Avoid silicone oils and solvent based or petroleum-based products such as nail polish remover or paint thinner. Abrasive products such as steel wool or tub cleaners.
The finish is durable and resistant to most household spills. However, spills should be wiped up promptly to avoid potential problems.
When left unattended, water can cause white spots, cracking and haziness to the finish and even damage the wood itself. Do not hang wet towels over the cabinets. Always remove excess liquid promptly.
Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, high temperatures, and high humidity can caus damage to both the finish and the wood itself. These should be avoided.
Following these simple steps will keep your finished project looking new for many ears.
